It is impossible to distinguish this Yamaha U1 upright piano manufactured in Japan in 2017 from one that is brand new, except for our price: $7,800.00! It has been meticulously maintained by the original owner and retains its as-new responsive touch and powerful sound.
There are many U1 pianos advertised at very low prices on websites and social media, but a word of caution: most of these U1 pianos have been used for 30 years or more, and manufactured with woods seasoned for Asian markets where they were first sold to local buyers. Note the Yamaha certificate to identify this U1, it is constructed with the durable wood materials that are required for guaranteed longevity in the U.S. market. Also notice the piano photo with a red arrow: it points to the soft-close hinge that is built in more recent production U1 pianos.
